What is the FVM?
Filecoin, the world’s largest decentralized storage network, now has user-programmable smart contract functionality. Developers can leverage provable storage in smart contracts with Filecoin’s native VM, the Filecoin Virtual Machine (FVM).
FVM unlocks tremendous new use cases for web3 devs: minting and storing NFTs on the same chain, endless variations of storage and data markets, novel DeFi primitives, and more.
